Membership in the DCFPA is open to licensed foster parents and/or other supporting persons. At this time, over 75 families are members of Denton County Foster Parent Association.
The membership fee for each family is $20 per calendar year, January through December. (All membership renewals are due at the end of December.) Your membership entitles you to comprehensive resources to help you navigate the foster system, as well as find respite care, training and other community resources potentially “hidden” from the lone foster family. Every year, the association finances holiday parties, family picnics, community awareness projects, special training and much more. Please contact us if we may answer any of your questions.
