As foster parents, we are committed to providing a loving, nurturing and safe environment for the children we care for.  It is the goal of the Denton County Foster Parent Association to maintain quality care for our children through monthly trainings, and by retaining current foster parents as well as recruiting new ones.

DCFPA's purpose is to educate, motivate and support foster and adoptive parents in Denton County.  Please take time to browse the website.  Also, check back often as new information is posted regularly.

What We Do

We meet the second Saturday of each month from 9-12.  We try to bring our members and guest current, interesting and relevant training to foster adoptive parents.  We communicate and coordinate with the Department of Family and Protective Services in order to provide annual required training such as:  Behavior Intervention Training, Communicable Diseases, CPR/First Aid, etc...
